A wonderful repeat client needed to update a rental. Wanted something cute, green and timeless. After brainstorming we settled on this beautiful combination.Pretty quick turnaround on this project too.

Beautiful Recycled content and locally made Fuez in City Lights and Snoqualmie pick up the light that bounces around this kitchen. It’s rich blue-gray Fireclay tile mixed with a border of white rock and rasberry colored liner bars are colors loved by the homeowners. New paint colors and the existing oak cabinets make the kitchen feel new again. This space came out really nice, and fits well with the manicured and green backyard you can’t help but notice in the large picture window over the sink. Just shows what a difference new counters and backsplash can make in a space. Can you imagine yours yet?

Beautiful and durable  surface of Fuez concrete and recycled glass mixes with a glass mosaic backdrop to make this downstairs bath sparkle. It is light and airy and soothing. The customer’s find of this elegant sink made for a one of kind space.

This beautiful kitchen replaces one with oak trim cabinets, teal laminate countertops and a desk area that broke up the space. This new kitchen is a mix of materials, from new cabinet doors and drawer fronts in alder, and painted white done by Hayes cabinets. The counters are a blend of Eco top in black and a granite island in a fantastic shape. The rock backsplash with Fireclay tile liner bars at the top really added the natural feel. These art lovers and world travelers deserved something special. A recent retirement meant more time at home so why not make it spectacular?! Deb and Pete were a dream to work with, even having us over for snacks and tapas after to take pictures. I will miss seeing their big fluffy dog Nell. Enjoy the photos and if inspiration hits, give us a call, we would like to help you build your dream kitchen too!

Two professors with a passion for the earth made all the right choices for thier newly re-done space. They moved walls and insulated, even changing their furnace to a higher efficiency model. No VOC added to the atmosphere here. Custom poured Fuez countertops in a deep charcoal with flecks of mother of pearl and stone blend with a mix of recycled content mosaic Fireclay ceramic tiles for a perfect clean look. Cobalt is the favorite color of the homeowner and is sprinkled throughout the space to her liking. We like it too 🙂

Beautiful green materials+ a wonderful couple up for the adventure = One dream kitchen

Fuez countertops made with recycled glass and mother of pearl in a concrete base accent the cabinets that were lost before. She likes random, he likes symetry but he gave her a gift on this one for her recent retirement. The backsplash became a work of art as we mixed and chose different sized and different colored recycled glass tiles. The new Clayhaus recycled content crackled ceramic field tile brought it all together. But the star of the show has to be the urban salvage Oregon Walnut island. “We wanted to use a different material, but couldn’t figure it out until I was driving to their house to measure. The walnut popped into my head and it was the perfect choice,” says Ecolution NW’s owner Heidi Olsen. It was an absolute pleasure working with the Johnson’s. I have been lucky in that I have met wonderful people along the way that care about small business and keeping things local. This gorgeous kitchen is well deserved. Enjoy, and thanks!
