Fuez countertops made with recycled glass and mother of pearl in a concrete base accent the cabinets that were lost before. The backsplash became a work of art as we mixed and chose different sized and different colored recycled glass tiles. The new Clayhaus recycled content crackled ceramic field tile brought it all together. But the star of the show has to be the urban salvage Oregon Walnut island. “We wanted to use a different material, but couldn’t figure it out until I was driving to their house to measure. The walnut popped into my head and it was the perfect choice,” says Ecolution NW’s owner Heidi Olsen. It was an absolute pleasure working with the Johnson’s.
